I am excited about entering my 14th year of teaching! I have treasured each and every year of teaching and working with children. What a joy it is to watch each student grow and learn throughout the year.
In the classroom, I strive to meet the individual needs of each student. I believe that each student is unique and it is my job to instruct, support, guide, love, and respect each student.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I then continued my education at the University of South Florida where I received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a second Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught kindergarten through third grade and I spent two years as a Reading Resource teacher.
This will be my fourth year at McKeel Elementary Academy and I am eager to begin my new adventure in second grade. I am proud to be a Wildcat and I feel blessed and privileged that I have the opportunity to teach and care for the little Wildcats in my classroom.
