Here's a little bit of information about me...
My husband and I are both originally from Greenville, South Carolina. We came to Florida to attend Southeastern University. We have been married for four years now! Josh and I happily live in Lakeland along with our dog, Jada.
This is my fifth year teaching. I interned at South McKeel in 1st grade during my final semester at Southeastern University where I earned my Elementary Education degree. I also have a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.
Right after undergrad, I joined the McKeel family! My first year, I taught 5th grade and then I hopped down to 3rd! In my spare time, I love scrapbooking, shopping, and hanging out with my youth kids at church.
In the classroom, I love to have a "family-like" atmosphere where all students feel safe to learn and be themselves. While they master the skills they need, I am always integrating technology and hands-on learning whenever possible! This is my best year ever! It is truly a blessing to be a WILDCAT!
